Apsaras represent an important motif in the stone bas-reliefs of the Angkorian temples in Cambodia. Apsaras are famous for their great beauty, elegance and gentleness. They appear attractively as young women of great beauty presenting the proficiency in the art of dancing.
The greate admiration of Apsara is that they reflect the goodness of Khmer culture. Unfortunately, artists try to use their talent to change the value of Apsara. Respecting Khmer culture, I do not think it is good to do so. Let’s take a look some differences here; and how is your point of view?
